Meerapfel Cigar has unveiled the Ernest Lancero, the latest addition to its prestigious Master Blend series.

The release honors Ernest Meerapfel, great-grandfather of the current family generation, whose adventurous spirit defined an era of transatlantic tobacco trade. In the early 1900s, Ernest sailed to Indonesia and became one of the leading exporters of Indonesian Sumatra tobacco—a legacy now reflected in this sophisticated new blend.

Crafted with Meerapfel’s hallmark precision, the Ernest Lancero (7 1/2 x 40) features the company’s prized Genuine Meerapfel Cameroon wrapper, known as its “sacred leaf.” The blend delivers a refined, complex profile with notes of leather, dark chocolate, oriental spice, and subtle minerality, balancing elegance with depth.
