The Fuente Fuente OpusX Robusto is the classic of the OpusX line: a 5 1/4 x 50 Robusto from Arturo Fuente, presented in an untouched, factory-sealed box of 29.
Size: 5 1/4 x 50 (Robusto)
Wrapper: Dominican, grown at the Chateau de la Fuente estate
Binder and filler: Dominican Republic
Strength: Medium to full
Box: 29 cigars
OpusX was the first Dominican puro to use a Dominican-grown wrapper, the leaf grown on the Fuente family's Chateau de la Fuente farm. The Robusto shows that wrapper at its best in a size you can enjoy in under an hour. Cigar Insider rated it 90 points, noting big bursts of cinnamon and red pepper over wood and leather, a hint of coffee bean, and a graham cracker finish.
Handmade by master rollers at Tabacalera A. Fuente y Cia. in the Dominican Republic. A staple of any serious OpusX collection.
